Day 1 ​Airport pick up and welcome

Once you have arrived to Guwahati airport, our team will be waiting to collect you and arrange anything you may need to begin your time here in India eg. SIM card or money withdrawal. You will then take a short drive in our private vehicle to our first stay outside of the city in the beautiful nature Assam has to offer. The group will spend the day settling in and getting introduced to the other group members and we will be providing a traditional Assamese dinner to kick start the tour.

Day 2 Yoga morning with sound healing and visit Kamakhya temple in Guwahati

Start the day with our first yoga class of the trip, relax and reconnect in this class which is hosted by our wonderful Yogi Tatiana. Breathing exercises and sound healing is included in this class. Once you are recharged, we will all enjoy a breakfast and have a welcoming ceremony to discuss the itinerary, here we will answer any questions you may have. In the afternoon we will all be picked up and taken to the famous Yoni temple - Kamakhya! We will have our very own personal guide to show us around the temple and to learn about the history of this sacred site (the energy of the place makes it a great experience) once we leave the temple, the group will stop for food or a refreshment before heading back to the stay for some free time. Our team will prepare a healthy evening meal for the group to end the day.

Day 3 Pobitora wildlife park and fire ceremony with live music

A Yoga session to begin the day with Tatiana, where she’ll add some magic to our day. Breakfast will be ready for everyone to enjoy before we head to Pobitora wildlife park, an exciting jeep safari through the heart of the jungle in Assam. Pobitora is the home to 2000 migrated birds, many reptiles and other mammals. We’ll spend the day taking in the beautiful scenery before having lunch at a local restaurant. The evening we have planned a fire ceremony for us all to connect on a deeper level and release any negative blocks in our lives. Afterwards we’ll enjoy a sizzling barbecue (veg or non veg available) and some live music for us all.

Day 4 Relaxing day

Our last day spent in our accommodation today, starting the day with a powerful yoga session with Tatianna. The day will be a relaxing day, reflecting and journaling is recommended. We will have our team make the meals for the whole day and we will be on hand for anything our guests need. Pack your luggage up and enjoy our last evening in the accommodation.

Day 5 Arrive at Meghalaya, visit viewpoints and boating

A new day and a new yoga experience with Tatiana. After breakfast we will be checking out and heading to our next amazing stay in The Scotland of the East, Meghalaya. You will fall in love with this incredible place from the moment we arrive. We will stop at a local eatery for a meal, followed by a visit to a scenic viewpoint for photography. Upon arriving at our stay near Umiam Lake, we will head out for a boating experience on the lake and explore a few viewpoints to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. After wrapping up the day’s activities, we will return to our stay to unwind and enjoy a relaxing dinner, preparing for an early start the following morning.

Day 6 Yoga at a waterfall, swim in natural pools and ecstatic dance

The group will set off early in the morning to a waterfall. We will organise all the essentials for yoga. The yoga class will take place in nature by a beautiful waterfall. We’ll have fruit for after and everyone is free to relax by the water or take a swim in the natural pool. The peaceful surroundings will have you feeling extremely relaxed and calm! Once we are ready to head back to our stay, dinner will be prepared and an ecstatic dance is arranged for us all to unwind and dance under the moon light together.

Day 7 Visit Chrystal water river in Dawki

We will begin our day with a deep breathing and mindful movement yoga class with Tatiana. Once our bodies are relaxed and our minds are clear, we will have breakfast and head out to visit the beautiful town of Dawki. We’ll have a winding drive through the misty hills before reaching the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River it appears like something out of a dream. We can take boat rides here to enjoy the transparent waters and pristine hills all around. We will visit a local restaurant where we can enjoy food together before heading back to our accommodation for the evening.

Day 8 Group session with Tatiana

Our last group Yoga session with Tatiana, we will have breakfast and a closing ceremony to reflect on our time here in the beautiful North east. We will get ready for a group walk on our last day in paradise, a time to reflect and open up to the group about your experience. We will have some group fun with additional activities like horse riding if people are interested. Last group dinner is planned and time to say our goodbyes.

Day 9

All transport to airports or on ward travel will be arranged for all guests. Breakfast is available for anyone before we check out of our accomodation.

The Heart of our Yoga Practice

Hello, Namaste my beautiful Yogis! My name is Tanya and I have been practicing Yoga for 15 years. A severe spinal injury brought me to the mat. Yoga healed me, and I share this knowledge with you so that you can heal your spirit and body. 16 years of my life were spent in Turkey, where I received my first teacher's education at the Yoga Alliance, and the last year I spent in India, travelling around this incredible country and receiving ancient knowledge of Yoga in Rishikesh from Indian sages, which I will generously share.
